MISSION
The Division of Human Resources is dedicated to providing services that support and advance the success of the City of Foley through our most valuable resource – our PEOPLE. In providing personnel services, we strive to promote a workplace environment that is characterized by fair treatment of staff, open communications, personal accountability, and mutual respect. We understand that by modeling and inspiring the core leadership values of integrity, trust, excellence, teamwork, vision, and communication in our day-to-day operations, we will share in the overall success of the City of Foley in reaching its fullest potential.

With over 260 full and part time classified and unclassified employees who are governed by civil service law and participate in the Alabama State Retirement System, we administer the following centralized functions:

Question: I don’t see any jobs listed on the HR Website. We don’t have anything available at this
time. Please continue to check back for future available positions.

Question: How do I apply for an available position? Employment Applications may be downloaded
from the HR page of our website or can be picked-up at Foley City Hall. We will be more than happy to mail, fax or email you an Employment Application, just contact us at (251) 943-1545 and let us know.

Question: Can I submit an Employment Application even though there is no opening? No. We
only accept Employment Applications for specific positions at which time that position is opened and advertised.

Question: There are two positions available on your website that I am interested in applying. Will
you accept one application for both positions? No. An Employment Application must be submitted for each individual available position.

Question: Where can I send my Employment Application? Completed Employment Applications
may be hand-delivered to Foley City Hall, 407 East Laurel Avenue, Foley, AL 36535; mailed to
