28th Annual Foley Rotary Club Oyster Run

The 28th Annual Foley Rotary Club Oyster Run will be held Saturday, November 13st at Orange Blossom Square. This is the largest fundraiser for the Foley Rotary Club with funds raised going to the Alabama Sherriff’s Boys Ranch, the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation, Ecumenical Ministries and other local charities.
The event consist of a 5k Run/Walk that will begin at 8:00 am and a One Mile Fun Run that will begin at 9:00 am. The course is flat and fast and is certified by the USATF. Food including gumbo, pizza, hotdogs and of course oysters, along with beverages will be available. The awards ceremony and door prizes will follow the race.
Race day registration will be from 7:00 am to 8:00 am at Orange Blossom Square. Each participant will receive an Oyster Run t-shirt and race number in their registration packet. The 5k route will be as follows:
Start/Finish at Alston St. and Orange Ave.
Route travels north on Alston St. to Verbena Ave.
West bound Verbena Ave. to Oak St.
North bound Oak St. to Azalea Ave.
Westbound Azalea Ave. to Krupinski Farms (Turnaround)
Same route return to Alston St. and Orange Ave.
