Foley pools reopen

Foley pools, including the ones at Max Griffin Park and Aaronville Park, will open on June 8, with a 50- person maximum occupancy.
Max Griffin Park / Pool
Max Griffin Park (300 Roosevelt Avenue) is the home of the first swimming pool in Foley, which was built in the 1950s. Griffin Pool is open during the summer months. The hours are noon through 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, noon through 7:00 p.m. Saturdays and 1:30 through 5:30 p.m. on Sundays.
Florence B. Mathis Park / Aaronville Pool
Florence B. Mathis Park (Aaronville Pool) is located on S. Cedar Street. The pool is open during the summer months, Monday through Saturday from noon until 7:00 p.m. and closed on Sundays. The park also includes a shaded playground area. For information, contact the Foley Recreation Department at 251-970-5020.
