FOLEY – The Foley City Council will meet Monday, June 2, at Foley City Hall.
The meeting and work session will begin at 4 p.m. in the City Council chambers.
Among the items on the agenda to be considered by the City Council are:
A proclamation reckoning Frank and Jennie Rikard Day.
Introducing the city’s 2025 interns.
Approving regulations and the Downtown Streetscape Plan Public Project recommended by the Foley Planning Commission.
Reducing the speed limit on Baldwin County 65.
Amending the Zoning Ordinance.
Rezoning property agricultural-open space, AO, to extended business district, B1A.
Approving a retirement award.
Approving a new lease and subscription policy and rescinding Resolution 22-1135.
Applying for the Fiscal Year 2026 Gulf Coast Resource Conservation and Development Council Grant.
Updating policies and procedures for the control of capital assets.
Appropriating construction funds for Phase 2 of the Cedar Street Sidewalk Project.
Accepting the transfer of a portion of Baldwin County 65 from Baldwin County.
Approving the solicitation of bids for the FY 2025 Resurfacing Project.
Approving halo lighting for three trees along Orange Avenue and Alston Street.
Approving the Light Up the Tank Project.
Renovating the flooring at City Hall and appropriating funds.
Approving a one-time payment of support for four qualified Foley High School students to attend the National Track Meet.
Authorizing the mayor to sign a lease agreement and letter of assurance for a T-28 aircraft from the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida.
Approving GMC’s Professional Land Surveying proposal for a two-lot minor subdivision in the Foley Industrial Park.
