National Family Literacy Month

November is National Family Literacy Month and Foley Public Library has a few things going on in celebration of this month. Join the library each Tuesday & Wednesday of the month at 10 am for a family-oriented storytime.  This is generally geared towards preschoolers, but home school children enjoy it as well.  A story is read (same story on Tuesday & Wednesday of the same week) and a corresponding craft will be done.  No reservations are required for this fun weekly program. FST Welcomes the Best of the Best

There's a chill in the air, the holidays are looming, that means one thing- it's championship season here at FST! This month we will be hosting three major championships. Right now, the FST Championship Stadium is hosting the Sun Belt Women's Soccer Championship with all games being streamed live on ESPN+. The title will be awarded November 6. Hometown Halloween returns to Foley

Downtown Foley was transformed into a Halloween playground on Oct. 28 as people hit the streets for the Annual Hometown Halloween event, hosted each year by the city of Foley. Kids wore their Halloween costumes to visit booths from local businesses and organizations. Those signed up for a booth were encouraged to have games and prizes for all who visited. Foley Welcomes Sun Belt Championships and New Teams

FOLEY, AL –  Foley Sports Tourism will be welcoming three Sun Belt Conference Championships this year and with them four new teams to the city. James Madison University, Marshall University, Old Dominion University and the University of Southern Mississippi are already making an impact across all the Sun Belt athletic programs in their inaugural year with the conference. New Investors in Downtown Foley’s Future and Envision Plan Rollout

Last week the Final Envision plan was rolled out and some special people announced their plans and told of their reasons for investing in Downtown Foley. The process brought many groups and people together and helped to consolidate and expand on ideas and plans. City of Foley Announces Their First Sister City

Foley, AL – The cities of Foley and Hennef, Germany, are working together in a Sister City Partnership, according to the Foley’s Sister Cities Commission. Why Hennef, Germany?
