Harry Potter’s Birthday Celebration

The Foley Public Library invites you to Harry Potter’s Birthday Celebration on Sat, July 30, 9 am – Noon. This is a child friendly come and go event. Children 12 and under should be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Cosplay or wearing a costume is optional. Families are welcome.
From 9 am – 11 am, start downstairs at the Sorting Hat station and find out what house you will be sorted into. Proceed upstairs to the meeting room and make your way around the games and activities. Enjoy Flying Keys Flip, Dobby Sock Toss, Dragon Eggs Pinch, Wingardium Leviosa, Tabletop Quidditch as well as Transfiguration and Herbology activities. Use the photo op area for a “Have you seen this Wizard?” photo and enter your name for a variety of prize drawings.
From 11 am – Noon enjoy Harry Potter treats like Butter Beer, Polyjuice, Chocolate Frogs, Acid Pops and various other candies upstairs. Prize drawings will occur at 11:30 am. You must be present to win.
