ROAD CLOSURE: South Hickory St. south of CR 20S to CR 12
Please be advised we just received a call from Riviera Utilities notifying us of an immediate road closure on South Hickory Street, from Crown Walk Subdivision southward to CR 12. This is the vicinity just to the south of CR 20S, southwards to CR 12. The closure is due to damage sustained to the power supply of Riviera's lift station this morning. This road closure will continue until we hear word that it is all clear.

Foley Senior Center set to reopen
As we make our way into spring, we can’t help but reflect on where we were one year ago. Covid arrived with a vengeance. Stick Library coming to Foley Dog Park courtesy of FES Pet Pals
Dog owners visiting the Foley Dog Park will find a new addition soon - a stick library. The project was brought forward by students in Foley Elementary School teacher Christine Speir’s class. Many of the students are involved in Foley Elementary School’s Pet Pals program, designed to teach kids writing, communication skills, geography, and much more. “We believe the sticks would provide dogs and their owners hours of play,” the students wrote in a letter to the city mayor and council. “The library would be a place where dogs could return the sticks [...]

Downtown walking tours every Saturday in April
Learn about Foley on a Saturday morning walking tour during the month of April. Foley has participated in the statewide April Walking Tours for many years now. It is a great activity that happens simultaneously across the state, when about 30 cities offer walking tours of their downtown areas. The tours are led by community experts, start at 10 am, last one hour and are free. Foley's begins under the oaks at the welcome center. It is a great way to learn the history of the town.
Governor Ivey Announces COVID-19 Vaccination Eligibility to be Expanded in Alabama to Include Individuals Age 16 and Older
