Foley Library has three special programs coming up in September. All programs have limited seating and a reservation is required. Please call 251-943-7665 to reserve a spot.

On Wednesday, Sept. 15 at noon, the library will host its first Lunch & Learn of the year. Our featured speaker is Mitchell Lee of the South Baldwin Literacy Council. Lee will speak about programs going on at the literacy council as well as community outreach. A free meal will be provided and reservations must be received by Monday, Sept. 13 at 5 p.m.

Coffee & Donuts With an Author is a monthly program that has been going on since June. On Wednesday, Sept. 22 at 10 a.m., local author Captain James F. Cash will discuss his book, “First Time Across,” and will end with a Q&A session. Captain Cash navigated his crew nearly halfway around the world, across eleven thousand nautical miles, to nine different countries – and now he carries readers on the same seafaring adventure in his book. Free coffee & donuts will be served. Reservations should be made by Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 5 p.m.

Sip & Learn is a new program at the Foley Library. Join us at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 24 for a glass of wine and instruction on Charcuterie Boards with Kate Norris. The library officially closes at 5 p.m. on Fridays, but the back doors will open at 5:30 p.m. to allow entry for this delicious event. Reservations for this program should be made by Thursday, Sept. 23 at 5 p.m.
