FOLEY – Most Foley city offices will be closed Monday through Wednesday, Dec. 23, 24 and 25, for the Christmas holiday.
City Hall and most municipal offices will be closed for the entire three-day period. Emergency services, such as police and fire, will operate as usual.
The Foley Public Library will be closed from Friday, Dec. 20 through Wednesday, Dec. 25.
The Graham Creek Nature Preserve Interpretive Center will be closed from Dec. 22 through Jan. 5. The center will reopen on Jan. 6. Trails and other outside features at the Graham Creek Preserve will remain open seven days a week from dawn until dusk.
The Holmes Medical Museum and Foley Railroad Museum will be open Saturday, Dec. 21. The museums will be closed Dec. 23 through Dec. 25. The museums will reopen on Dec. 26 for regular hours, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Foley Public Works offices will be closed Monday through Wednesday.
Recyclable materials will not be collected Dec. 23 through 27. Recycling collection will resume Dec. 30.
Garbage on routes where collection is scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays will be collected Thursday, Dec. 26. Collection on Wednesday and Friday routes will take place Friday, Dec. 27. The collection of limbs and yard debris will resume Dec. 26.
