Christmas Holiday Closures:
City of Foley administrative offices will close on Wednesday, Dec. 22 at noon. City offices other than emergency personnel will remain closed on Thursday, Dec. 23 and Friday, Dec. 24 for the Christmas holiday. Regular operations will resume on Monday, Dec. 27. City offices will also be closed on Friday, Dec. 31 for the New Year’s holiday.
Garbage and recycling schedule for the week of Christmas: Tuesday and Thursday garbage and recycling will be picked up on Tuesday, Dec. 21. Wednesday and Friday garbage and recycling will be picked up on Wednesday, Dec. 22. Please have all containers out by 6 a.m. Limbs/yard debris and bulk pickup routes will resume on Monday, Dec. 27.
Other city departments and museums will also be closed beginning at noon on Dec. 22 and reopening on Monday, Dec. 27. This includes the Foley Public Library, Graham Creek Nature Preserve, The Foley Railroad Museum and the Model Train Exhibit, and also the Holmes Medical Museum.
New Year’s Day Closures:
City offices will be closed on Friday, Dec. 31 for New Years. Regular operations will resume on Monday, Jan. 3.
The Foley Public Library will be closed from Friday, Dec. 31 until Monday, Jan 3 for New Years.
Garbage and recycling schedule for the week of New Year’s: Friday garbage and recycle service will be picked up on Thursday, Dec. 30. Please have all containers out by 6 a.m. Limbs/yard debris and bulk pickup service will resume on Monday, Jan. 3, beginning where crews ended before the holiday.
