FOLEY – Foley officials are moving ahead with preparations for the 2025 city elections.

The Foley City Council is scheduled to vote Monday, Feb. 17, to set salaries for the mayor and council members for the upcoming term. The City Council meeting and work session begins at 4 p.m. at Foley City Hall.

Under the Alabama election calendar, cities and towns have until Feb. 26 to set salaries for the upcoming term.

Municipal elections in Foley and other cities and towns will be held Aug. 26, 2025. In Foley, the office of mayor and the seats to represent the five City Council districts will be up for election. The term of office is four years.
