FOLEY – After a weather delay, several rescheduled Christmas events are set to bring holiday cheer to Foley this weekend beginning Friday, Dec. 12.
Christmas in the Park, the Foley Christmas Parade, Let It Snow, and the opening of the Graham Creek Christmas Trail will all take place Friday and Saturday. These events were postponed from the previous weekend due to heavy rains across the area.
Friday, Dec. 12
The weekend’s festivities begin with Christmas in the Park at Heritage Park. The celebration includes the official lighting of the city Christmas tree, refreshments, and a visit from Santa Claus. The event begins at 6 p.m.
Also opening Friday is the Graham Creek Christmas Trail, where visitors can enjoy a beautifully lit walk through the park featuring thousands of Christmas lights. Santa will be on-site to greet children.
Admission: $5 for ages 3 and older
Trail hours: 5–8 p.m. on Dec. 12, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, and 22.
Saturday, Dec. 13
The annual Foley Christmas Parade will roll through downtown beginning at 10 a.m. Residents and visitors can enjoy festive floats, music, community groups, and an appearance by Santa Claus.
Following the parade, head to Heritage Park for Foley’s annual Let It Snow celebration.
