The Foley Event Train will offer special holiday runs at Heritage Park on Tuesday, Feb. 17, and Thursday, Feb. 19.
In addition to the special dates, the train will operate on its regular schedule on Saturday, Feb. 21.
The train runs from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Passengers board and exit at the Foley Railroad Museum, located in the city’s historic 1909 L&N Depot on East Laurel Avenue.
Rides are free and open to the public. Each trip lasts approximately 15 to 20 minutes as the train circles Heritage Park. The train includes about four passenger cars, with each car accommodating up to four riders, depending on passenger size.
The Foley Event Train typically operates on Saturdays throughout the year. During school holidays in the summer, additional Tuesday and Thursday runs are also scheduled.
Residents and visitors are invited to stop by Heritage Park and enjoy a free ride on this popular Foley attraction.
