FOLEY – Most City of Foley offices will be closed Wednesday through Friday, Dec. 24–26, in observance of the Christmas holiday.

City Hall and most municipal offices will be closed for the three-day period. Emergency services, including police and fire, will continue to operate as usual.

Facility Closures and Hours

  • Foley Public Library: Closed Wednesday, Dec. 24, through Saturday, Dec. 27.

  • Graham Creek Nature Preserve Interpretive Center: Closed Dec. 24–28. Trails and outdoor areas at Graham Creek will remain open daily from dawn to dusk.

  • Holmes Medical Museum and Foley Railroad Museum: Closed Dec. 24–26. The museums will reopen Saturday, Dec. 27, for regular hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

  • Foley Public Works Offices: Closed Wednesday through Friday, Dec. 24–26.

Sanitation Services

  • Recycling: No recycling collection will take place during the week of Christmas. Recycling service will resume Monday, Dec. 29.

  • Garbage Collection: Routes normally scheduled for Thursday and Friday will be collected on Tuesday, Dec. 23.

  • Limbs and Yard Debris: Collection will resume after the Christmas holidays.

Residents are encouraged to plan accordingly.
