FOLEY – Bookmarks with award-winning designs created by local children are now available at the Foley Public Library.

The library recently held a contest for children of all ages to submit a design for bookmarks to be printed and featured in the library. 

The incredible creativity and talent showcased by the local community amazed the library staff. After careful consideration by the panel of judges of all the outstanding submissions, the library staff is excited to announce the winners:

Ages 5-9: Hudson Harris

Ages 10-12: Sarah Kathryn Helms

Ages 13-15: Sadee Krauss

Ages 16-19: Ramena Brianna Howard

Ages 20+: Alena Zoe St. Clair

These winning designs have been transformed into beautiful bookmarks, hot off the press. 

Anyone wanting copies of these bookmarks can come by the library and pick one up. The bookmarks are perfect companions for everyone’s summer reading adventures.

This summer, the library is filled with reading adventures and everyone is invited to join in on the fun. Their summer lineup is jam-packed with awesome events for adults, big kids, teens, or tweens. There’s something for everyone!
