Beginning Tuesday, March 31, Foley will no longer collect recycling. Recycling is collected manually, which makes it a source of disease transmission. Garbage will be picked up as usual, as the process is automated. Garbage cannot be picked up if it is placed in recycle containers. (Won’t work on the truck). Garbage placed in bags beside the can cannot be picked up. (Won’t work on the truck). The city takes this measure to keep employees safe. We encourage you to follow all preventive guidelines to keep you and your family safe during this time.
