City of Foley offices, other than health and public safety, will be closed on Monday, Aug. 30.
Mayor Ralph Hellmich made the decision based upon the likelihood of excessive rain throughout the day on Monday that could cause flooding, as well as with Baldwin County schools being closed.
This Monday closing will affect a recycling route. Monday recycling will be picked up along with Tuesday recycling on Tuesday. Limb and bulk pickup will resume on Tuesday.
At of Sunday evening, no electrical outages or road closures have been reported in Foley.
