Kick off the holiday season at our 6th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, November 19! Enjoy a snowy Tree Lighting ceremony with Christmas music playing through the streets of Downtown. This remarkable holiday experience is filled with ceremonious live entertainment followed by the epic lighting of OWA’s giant, 36-foot-tall Christmas tree, snowfall, and fireworks display. Be sure to grab your photo with Santa and enjoy a spectacular Rockettes-style dance performance at the OWA Theater.
You’re invited to a special pancake brunch with the jolly man himself this Christmas season. Select dates this December 3-18 at The Bohemian in Downtown OWA guests can dine with Santa and enjoy a delectable pancake spread. Don’t forget to tell him what you want for Christmas, too! Pack your bags and grab your winter coats, because the North Pole is headed to Downtown OWA! Select dates December 3-22, Santa will be welcoming guests of all ages to his home away from home. Kids and families will be able to participate in Christmas crafts with Santa’s Elves while waiting to grab a photo with the jolly man himself! Don’t forget to bring your wish list — Santa’s mailbox will be accepting mail all season long!
Have your elf a merry little Christmas season and get ready to ride at the YMCA Elf Ride at OWA on Saturday, December 10! Dress up in your best elf costume, decorate your bike and have fun with the YMCA in Downtown OWA. Proceeds will benefit the John McClure Snook Family and Bounds Family YMCA, a non-profit organization whose mission is to strengthen communities. Prizes will be awarded for the best costume and bike decoration. Become part of a movement this holiday season and join us for a jolly good time!
Bring the family to Sweet Tooth in Downtown OWA on Saturday, December 17! Be sure to wear your ugly Christmas sweaters too because we have a treat for you! Start the day with our Ugly Sweater Contest at 11am. It’s free to register—just arrive early and add your name to the list! There will be FOUR giant stockings up for grabs with a combined retail value of $450! It’s filled with tons of goodies, so be sure to wear your most hideous holiday sweater of all to win this larger-than-life prize.

On Saturday, December 17, Mrs. Claus returns to OWA with her top elf assistant JJ to celebrate beloved holiday traditions. Come sing along to the festive song and dance numbers sure to get everyone in the holiday spirit! This complimentary holiday experience is perfect for all ages to enjoy.
