FOLEY – Foley has once again been recognized as one of the best places to live along the Gulf Coast.
WorldAtlas has named Foley to its list of the “10 Best Places to Call Home on the Gulf Coast in 2025,” highlighting the city’s small-town charm, proximity to the bay and beaches, and affordable lifestyle.
The feature notes that Foley “retains its small-town heart while offering easy access to both the bay and the beach,” giving residents the benefits of coastal living while maintaining a quieter pace of life.
WorldAtlas also pointed to several attractions that make Foley unique, including the Foley Railroad Museum and Model Train Exhibit, which preserves the community’s history dating back to the early 20th century. Downtown Foley, with its shops, antique stores, and restaurants, was also recognized as a draw for both residents and visitors.
The article further highlighted Heritage Park, a favorite spot for walking, concerts, and festivals, as well as Graham Creek Nature Preserve, where trails, wetlands, and kayak routes provide endless opportunities for outdoor recreation and exploration.
