The Foley City Council will hold its regular work session and meeting Monday, April 6.

The meeting will begin at 4 p.m. in the council chambers at Foley City Hall.

Among the items on the agenda are: 

  • Declaring April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month in Foley.
  • Designating April as National Donate Life Month.
  • Discuss the city’s Fiscal Year 2025 Popular Annual Financial Report.
  • Rezoning property owned by Jarvis and Deborah Sester from Residential Single Family (R-2) to Preferred Office (PO).
  • Rezoning property owned by Rivi Apartments LLC from Extended Business District (B-1A) to Residential Multi Family (R-3).
  • Adopting a Technical Design Manual (TDM) governing design, development, permitting and construction standards in the city of Foley.
  • Amending a resolution adopting the Fiscal Year 2026 budget.
  • Approving the mid-year adjustments to the Fiscal Year 2026 budget and 2026 capital planning document.
  • Approving an increase to the Visa credit card limit and issuing a new card.
  • Utilizing impact fee funding for the Iberville Square turn lane project.
  • Approving the 2026 summer season fireworks display at OWA.
  • Setting a public hearing declaring the accumulation of junk, trash and litter to be a public nuisance and ordering its abatement on Ninth Avenue.
  • Accepting costs for weed abatement on South Hickory Street at the entrance to Crown Walk subdivision and authorizing a copy to be sent to the Baldwin County Tax Collector.
  • Approving JADE Consulting’s professional service agreement for the West Orange Avenue Streetscape Project from South Pine Street to South Alston Street.
  • Rescinding a resolution to utilize impact fee funding for Allen Engineering and Science’s Wilson Avenue and Equestrian Street professional services agreement amendment.
  • Rescinding a resolution to utilize impact fee funding for the paving of the Pilgrim Street Extension Project.
  • Utilizing impact fee funding for the Fern Avenue and Highway 59 intersection project.
  • Setting a public hearing to consider rezoning property owned by Jarvis and Deborah Sester from Residential Single Family (R-2) to Preferred Office (PO).
  • Setting a public hearing to consider rezoning property owned by Rivi Apartments LLC from Extended Business District (B-1A) to Residential Multi Family (R-3).
  • Approving the application to the Alabama Department of Transportation for the FY27 Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside Program.
  • Utilizing impact fee funding for the FY26 Alabama Transportation Rehabilitation and Improvement Program II (ATRIPII) grant award for the Miflin Road-Alabama 161 Intersection Improvements.
  • Accepting the FY26 Alabama Transportation Rehabilitation and Improvement Program II (ATRIPII) Grant Award for the Miflin Road-Alabama 161 Intersection Improvements.
  • Accepting additional funding for the Alabama Department of Environmental Management GOMESA Litter Trap Grant.
  • Waiving the fees for the use of the Foley Civic Center for the SHOW Baldwin Fundraiser.
