FOLEY – Foley city offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 15, in commemoration of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
The two city museums, the Holmes Medical Museum and Foley Depot Railroad Museum will be open Monday during regular hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Foley Public Library will also be closed Monday.
All offices will reopen at the usual time on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
The Foley City Council meeting, which is usually held on the first and third Monday of each month, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 16.
Monday collection of recyclable materials will take place Tuesday, Jan. 16. Pick ups scheduled for the remainder of the week will not be affected. The collection of limbs and yard debris will resume Tuesday as well. Residents are asked to be patient if routes are delayed until crews can catch up with collection.
