FOLEY – Foley voters will head to the polls on Tuesday, Aug. 26, to elect City Council members who will serve during the next four-year term.

Residents in Districts 1, 2, 4 and 5 will cast ballots at the Foley Civic Center, located at 407 E. Laurel Ave. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

All six elected positions in Foley – the mayor and five City Council seats – are on the ballot in 2025. Mayor Ralph Hellmich is unopposed in his bid for re-election, as is Roddy Burkle, candidate for the District 3 council seat.

Council members are elected by district. Residents may only vote for the candidate seeking to represent their district. Since there are no contested races for mayor or District 3, voters who live in District 3 will not have an election this year.

Foley residents can confirm which district they live in by visiting cityoffoley.org, where a link on the homepage allows residents to check their council district and find additional election details.

The newly elected officials will begin their four-year terms in November 2025.
