Garbage

Normal ally pickup resumed today. This is the last week of garbage collection by city quadrant.
Normal (old) garbage routes will resume Monday, Oct. 19. Recycle routes are also set to resume on Monday, Oct. 19.

Debris

Today is day 20 for vegetative debris pickup in Foley. On Saturday, Oct. 9, there were 50 trucks in operation. So far, the trucks have picked up 6,079 truckloads, for a total of 355,991 cubic yards of debris removed.

SBA opens Business Recovery Center in Alabama for businesses affected by Hurricane Sally

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced the opening of a Business Recovery Center (BRC) in Gulf Shores, Alabama on Oct. 2, and also a mobile registration unit in Foley at the Baldwin County Satellite Courthouse, to help businesses impacted by Hurricane Sally. SBA representatives at these centers can provide information about disaster loans, answer questions, and assist businesses in completing the SBA application.

Applicants may apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via the SBA’s secure website at https://DisasterLoanAssistance.sba.gov/. Additional details on the locations of Disaster Recovery Centers and the loan application process can be obtained by calling the SBA Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 (800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard- of-hearing) or by sending an email to DisasterCustomerService@sba.gov.

Mobile Registration at Foley Satellite Courthouse 201 E. Section Ave. Foley 7 days a week, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Registration is also available at the Gulf Shores Activity Center and the Baldwin County Central Annex in Robertsdale.
