Downtown Foley will host a series of notable events during its Third Thursday celebration. Businesses will extend hours from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., offering special promotions, refreshments and entertainment for locals and visitors. There will be a turkey hunt for six Foley Main Street turkeys hidden around town.

A major highlight of the evening will be the official opening of the Downtown Foley Arts & Entertainment District. The district aims to enhance community engagement and cultural activities in the area. Local bars and restaurants are excited to add this tool to their business. Participating businesses include The Gathering Place, Foley Brunch & Supper Club, Scuttlebutt Pub, Southern Shores Eats & Drinks and Mama Mia’s Pizzeria. The Downtown Foley A&E District hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week.Drinks must be in approved containers purchased at the participating district restaurants and bars. Approved container means a non-glass container not exceeding a volume of 16 fluid ounces, which is provided to a customer by the seller and must have the A&E District sticker on the container. You are not allowed to take the drink into another participating restaurant or bar. The Downtown Foley A& E District’s boundaries will be posted around town and the sidewalks are marked with fun boundary stencils.

The evening will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:00 p.m. for the new Cat Alley Walkway and public seating area, located next to 106 North Alston Street. This addition to Downtown Foley offers a welcoming space for residents and visitors to enjoy. This was a Foley Main Street Design committee project in partnership with the City of Foley,  Main Street Alabama, Foley Art Center,  Baldwin County Board of Realtors, the City of Foley Beautification committee and with the full cooperation of one of our downtown business BrightSpeed.
