Deadline to Apply for Physical Disaster Loans is Nov. 19
ATLANTA – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) reminds Alabama residents and businesses that Nov. 19 is the deadline to apply for physical disaster loans to assist with damages due to Hurricane Sally, on Sept. 14-16, 2020. The SBA also announced that due to a steady decrease in activity, the Business Recovery Center in Gulf Shores, Alabama will cease operations on Thursday, Nov. 19.
“I encourage anyone who has not completed their disaster loan application to visit the center before the closing to meet with a Customer Service Representative for one-on-one assistance,” said Michael Lampton, acting director of Disaster Field Operations Center East.
SBA’s Customer Service Representatives continue to operate at the temporary location to answer program questions, assist in completing the SBA application and help with the reconsideration process. The Center is located and open as indicated below.
