A Letter From Our Director

Dear Valued Partner,

Our world is rapidly changing and those changes are directly impacting our business, as we know they are directly impacting yours. We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 Coronavirus situation and are committed to keeping you informed of any changes to our upcoming schedule.

Yesterday a number of national governing bodies released statements canceling or postponing all sanctioned events and as a result, a number of our events have been impacted.

  • Perdido Soccer Shootout Boys Weekend scheduled for this weekend, March 14 – 15 has been canceled.
  • Spring Fling Volleyball Tournament scheduled for next weekend, March 21 -22 has been postponed to April 25 – 26.
  • The Jubilee Jam Lacrosse Tournament scheduled for next Saturday, March 21 has been canceled.
  • Optional State/Xcel Gymnastics meet scheduled for March 27 – 29 has been canceled.

We are working closely with our event planners and kept them abreast of the increased efforts on the part of FST to keep our facilities safe and clean. Often times, however, their hands have been tied by the governing bodies which sanction their events. Our planners love every opportunity they have to #PlayFoley not just because of our facilities, but in great part because of the incredible hospitality you provide outside of their tournaments. While some of these events may cancel or postpone these planners are already attempting to get back on the FST calendar as soon as possible and return with their participants to Foley.

As a community who has survived a number of natural disasters, we know we will weather this storm and the best way to do so is by leaning on each other. If there is anything we can do to assist you at this time please let us know. We will continue to send updates as more information becomes available.

Thank you so much for your continued support,

David Thompson
