FOLEY – Supporters of Downtown Foley will have a chance to find their own pot of gold in the weeks leading up to St. Patrick’s Day.
Foley Main Street is conducting the sixth-annual “Lucky to Love Foley,” celebration between Feb. 19 and March 17.
Anyone who buys an item or service in Downtown Foley during those dates will have a chance to win. Participants can enter by taking a picture of their receipt – scanning a QR code and uploading their receipt.
Those who enter could win a portion of the $1,500 Pot of Gold. The prizes include many gift certificates from Downtown Foley businesses, Darrelyn Dunmore, Foley Main Street executive director, said..
“This is an event to bring people downtown during a slower time of the year. It’s fun and if you are going to support a business, why not have the chance to get a little extra? We are so blessed with the support our community gives Downtown Foley – Lucky to Love is just another way to give back.” Dunmore said.
The event will be capped off with a celebration at Southern Shore Eats & Drinks on March 22 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. when the winners will be drawn. Southern Shores is located at at 217 N. McKenzie St in Downtown Foley.
The winners will also be posted on Foley Main Street’s Facebook and Instagram page by March 26 by 4 p.m.
No purchase is necessary. Participants can also upload a piece of paper that says I LOVE DOWNTOWN FOLEY. Anyone wanting more information can go to www.foleymainstreet.com
