Before recent improvements, the section of County Road 20 connecting Alabama Highway 59 to South Hickory Street was a narrow two-lane road. It presented challenging conditions for those who drove, walked and biked along it daily. Improvements completed early this year that include wider lanes, a turn lane, improved drainage and new sidewalks have made this corridor much easier to travel, thanks to a successful partnership between Baldwin County and Foley and funding provided by a federal grant.
