FOLEY – Foley’s municipal airport opened its doors to the community on Saturday, March 22, inviting residents to explore the facility during a special open house event.
Around 100 attendees took advantage of the opportunity to learn more about airport operations, ask questions, and engage with staff. For some, it was their first time getting an up-close look at the airport.
“This is so nice to be able to come out here,” one resident shared. “I’ve always wanted to visit, but I didn’t want to interrupt anyone at work. Everyone’s very nice, and you have a wonderful place here.”
The event was hosted by Lightning Aviation, the company that manages the airport.
