FOLEY – Parts of two streets in Foley will be closed for several days while road improvements are made.
North Alston Street near the Baldwin Health hospital will be closed starting Tuesday, Jan. 7. The section to be closed is north of West Camilla Avenue The road is scheduled to be closed during the day until Friday, Jan. 10. The road will be closed each day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Work being done includes shoring for a retaining wall and the installation of a storm drainage system.
One lane of Miflin Road, Baldwin County 20, will be closed starting Monday, Jan. 6. The right-hand eastbound lane will be closed for 14 days. The closing will allow work to be done on the southwest corner of the Foley Beach Express and Miflin Road.
The road will be closed between the OWA entrance at Fountain Drive and the Foley Beach Express.
