The City of Foley is planning and envisioning the development and redevelopment of properties along the AL-59 Corridor based on your input. As an Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) road, the state has control over the road itself. However, the City has authority over zoning, land use, and development regulations for the properties along the road.
The AL-59 Corridor serves as the central spine of the City and is the primary revenue generator supporting all community facilities and services. The following public opinion survey is designed to provide residents, business owners, and travelers along the corridor with an opportunity to voice their opinions on various topics. This information will help the city understand the needs, goals, issues, and opportunities from the perspective of the people who live, work, and use the AL-59 Corridor.
