After canceling the 2020 Art in the Park due to COVID-19 concerns, this year saw a return with the 49th Annual Art in the Park over Mother’s Day Weekend. With sunshine and beautiful weather greeting newcomers and regulars alike, this year saw a successful return of the beloved event. Tents filled Heritage Park in Foley as crafters and artists came from all over the southeast. Vendors sold handmade pottery, artwork, woodwork, crafts, jewelry, and much more.
The 49th Annual Art in the Park Best in Show Overall winner was Craig McMillan. Nick Cantrell won first place in Best of Show in Art, with Jack Swindle coming in second. For Best of Show in Crafts, first place went to Vanja Havens and second place went to Sam Cheek. Merit artists were Cherri Lamar, Louis and Rhee Korff, Ryan Merrill and Kristin Pierre Art.
