FOLEY – Foley’s annual outdoor celebration, “Music and a Movie,” starts this Friday, April 19, at the pavilion in Heritage Park.
Music and a Movie continues through May 31..The events will be held each Friday evening except May 3, when the Gulf Coast Hot Air Balloon Festival takes place, and May 10, when the park will be the site of Art in the Park.
Participants can bring a chair or blanket and enjoy live music starting at 6 p.m. followed by a movie at dusk. Concessions will be available. Local artisans and other vendors will also line the sidewalks of Heritage Park from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The schedule for the series includes:
April 19, Music by the Jason Abel Project, and the movie “Wonka.” Activities will include a balloon artist.
April 26, Music by the Doc Johnson Band and the movie “The Little Mermaid.” (2023) Activities will include bounce houses.
May 17, Music by MidLife Crisis and the movie “Jaws.” Activities will include bounce houses.
May 24, Music by Justin Colvard and the movie “Elemental.” Activities will include a balloon artist.
May 31, Music by Chitlin Switch and the movie “Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie.” Activities will include bounce houses.
