FOLEY – Non-emergency Foley city offices will be closed Friday, July 4, in commemoration of the Independence Day holiday.
Garbage and recyclable materials usually collected Thursdays and Fridays will be collected on Thursday, July 3. The collection of limbs and yard debris will resume after the holiday. Residents are asked to be patient if routes are delayed until crews can catch up with collection.
The Foley Public Library will be closed Friday and Saturday.
The two city museums, the Holmes Medical Museum and Foley Depot Railroad Museum will be closed Friday, but will open Saturday, July 5, during regular hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The model railroad display will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
The Nature Center at the Graham Creek Nature Preserve will close Friday, July 4 and reopen Monday, July 7. The Graham Creek Nature Preserve will remain open seven days a week during daylight hours.
All offices will reopen at the usual time on Monday, July 7.
