The Foley City Council will hold its regular work session and meeting Monday, April 20.

The meeting will begin at 4 p.m. in the council chambers at Foley City Hall.

Among the items on the agenda are: 

  • A public hearing to amend the Foley Zoning Ordinance.
  • A proclamation designating Public Service Recognition Week.
  • A presentation by State Rep. Donna Givens to the Foley Public Library.
  • A presentation on the Southern Relief Community Meals Program.
  • Receiving department reports for March 2026.
  • Amending the Foley Zoning Ordinance.
  • Granting an ABC license for retail beer (off premises only),retail table wine (off premises only), tobacco and alternative nicotine products for Casey’s Marketing Company on North McKenzie Street.
  • Replacing the Scenic Byway/Coastal Connection signage at the U.S. 98/Alabama 59 intersection.
  • Approving a performance contract with Jerry Phillip Webb.
  • Approving monthly bids for March 2026.
  • Going to bid and purchasing a new truck for the Municipal Complex.
  • Amending the pay classification for the Police Department and Human Resources Division.
  • Memorializing the submission of the application for the Fiscal Year 2026 Legislative Event Grant.
  • Applying for an Alabama Humanities Alliance America in 250 Mini Grant.
  • Applying for an Alabama Semiquincentennial Community Grant.
  • Accepting McCollough Architecture’s revised proposal for services relating to the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermens Market Commercial Kitchen Project.
  • Soliciting bids, awarding bids within budget and appropriating funds for the Mills Pedestrian Path Project.
  • Approving Sawgrass Consulting’s professional services proposal for the Fiscal Year 2026 Resurfacing Project.
  • Entering into a contract with OTK Architecture LLC for the Library Renovation Project.
  • Allocating funds for the construction of the Andrew James Wetland Reserve parking area and roadway.
  • Approving Sawgrass Consulting LLC professional services proposal addendums for the Monarch Conservatory.
  • Purchasing new carpet for the Foley Sports Tourism Event Center.
  • Approving the purchase of a ball field drag for the Parks and Recreation Department.
  • Approving the FY2026 capital purchase  of a Z-Sprayer Max for the Foley Sports Tourism Multi-Use Fields.
  • Approving and appropriating funds for Sawgrass Consulting LLC professional services proposals for the CAFFM property expansion Phase 2 and Sports Tourism Multi Use Fields Complex, concessions and bathroom building.
  • Approving the Foley Sports Tourism Department’s purchase of a Toro Workman HDX UTV.
  • Sponsoring the Lions at the Links Golf Tournament.
