City of Foley Christmas and New Year’s Holiday Closures

In celebration of the Christmas holidays and New Year’s Day, the City of Foley announces the following closures:

City administrative offices will be closed on Friday, Dec. 23 through Monday, Dec. 26. Regular operations will resume on Tuesday, Dec. 27. In addition, offices will be closed Jan. 2 in observance of New Year’s Day, resuming operations on Jan. 3.

Police and fire and emergency services will remain open throughout the holidays to ensure public safety.

Garbage and Recycling service will be altered this week. These services will not run on Friday, Dec. 23 or Monday, Dec. 26. Garbage and recycling normally picked up on Friday will be picked up on Thursday, Dec. 22. Garbage and recycling normally picked up on Monday will be picked up on Tuesday, Dec. 27. For the New Year’s holiday on Monday Jan. 2, garbage and recycling will be picked up on Tuesday, Jan. 3. See a pdf of the schedule here.
