The city of Foley Planning Commission will meet twice in December, on Dec. 7 for a work session and a regular meeting on Dec. 14. Both meetings will be at 5:30 p.m. in council chambers.

During the meetings, the commission will:

Hear a request for a one-year site plan extension for West Laurel apartments located north of U.S. 98 and east of North Beech Street. The applicant is Engineering Design Group.

Hear another request for a one-year site plan extension for A&R Townhomes on property located south of East Michigan Avenue and east of South McKenzie Street. The applicant is Hopkins & Associates.

Hear a request for approval of the subdivision of 3.5 acres into two lots located north of U.S. 98 and west of County Road 55 in the Foley planning jurisdiction. The applicant is Jacob Snow.

Receive a request from Richard Lord RV Park for a modification to property located at 22410 U.S. 98 west of Barin Field Road.

Hear a request for a preliminary approval for Paxton Farms Phase 2 for a 16-acre parcel and 60 lots. The property is located at the southwest corner of County Road 12 and County Road 65 in the Foley planning jurisdiction. The applicant is Jade Consulting.

Receive a request for a favorable recommendation to the mayor and council for rezoning 2 acres located north of Azalea Avenue and west of South Juniper Street. Applicants Kaymac and Chris and Phil Johnson. They are seeking a change from single family residential to a planned unit development to build 11 rental cottages.
