The road to recovery continues in Baldwin County as cities hit hardest by Hurricane Sally work to remove fragile trees and limbs that could pose a danger to the public.

The Urban Forestry Strike Team, a group of highly trained arborists, visited the cities of Foley and Gulf Shores last week to survey the damage, and mark trees that need to be addressed.

Dale Dickens, Alabama’s Urban Forestry Coordinator, said the team put white marks on trees with limbs at risk of falling, and painted orange X marks on trees that need to be removed.

“If you see the orange paint, stay away from them until the crews have a chance to address the problem,” said Dickens. Read more at www.mynbc15.com
