FOLEY – Due to expected inclement weather, the Midday Melodies performance scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 11, has been rescheduled for Monday, Oct. 16.

Zack Chavers will perform at the clock tower in Foley’s Heritage Park on Monday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The concert series features performances each week in October. The weather forecast for Wednesday, however, predicted an 80% chance of rain with wind gusts of up to 30 miles an hour.

Upcoming performances will be Jesse Taylor Perry on Oct. 18 and Just Roger on Oct. 25.

The concerts are free to the public. Participants are welcome to bring picnic blankets or lawn chairs. Lunches are available from any of Foley’s many nearby downtown restaurants or or spectators can bring their own. Concessions are also available from the Masonic Lodge.

Free parking is available around the perimeter of the park located at 104 N. McKenzie Street, just across the pedestrian bridge on Alabama 59. Anyone wanting more information can visit visitfoley.org or call the city of Foley at 251-943-1200.
