In celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday, the City of Foley announces the following closures.

City administrative offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25. Regular operations will resume on Monday, Nov. 28.

Police and fire services will remain open to ensure public safety.

Garbage and Recycling service will be altered this week as they will not run on Thursday, Nov. 24 or Friday, Nov. 25. Garbage and recycling normally picked up on Thursday will be picked up on Tuesday, Nov. 22. Garbage and recycling normally picked up on Friday will be picked up on Wednesday, Nov. 23. Regular Tuesday and Wednesday service will not be affected.

Limbs/yard debris and bulk pickup are not available on Thursday or Friday. This service will continue on Monday, Nov. 28.

The Foley Public Library will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24 through Sunday, Nov. 27.

The Foley Railroad Museum and the Holmes Medical Museum will be open from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 25 and 26.

The Model Train Exhibit will be open on Saturday, Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The park train will provide free rides around Heritage Park on Saturday, Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., weather permitting.
