FOLEY – The Foley Welcome Center and city museums will be closed Friday, Nov. 1, for an employee training session.

The Foley Railroad Museum and Holmes Medical Museum will also be closed Friday, but will reopen for regular hours Saturday, Nov. 2. The regular hours for both museums are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

The Welcome Center is located at 104 N. McKenzie St., on the northeast corner of Alabama 59 and U.S. 98. The center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Foley Railroad Museum is at 125 E. Laurel Ave. The model train display at the museum is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The Holmes Medical Museum is located at 111 W. Laurel Ave. at the site of Baldwin County’s first hospital. 

Admission to both museums is free.
