‘Community Safety Day’ to feature live demos, interactive games, hands-on fun

Downtown OWA is set to host its largest event for the Gulf Coast community. Admission-free and open daily, Downtown OWA is the dining, entertainment and shopping district of the 520-acre destination.

Head to its timeless streets on Saturday, August 25th for an experience like no other, as Community Safety Day is taking community involvement to a new level. With more than 13 local and state public safety departments on-site, each will have its own special experiences for guests to take part in, all admission free.

In addition to multiple live demonstrations and hands-on experiences, participating first responders will be racing the streets on Downtown OWA in fun-filled Jumbo Tricycle Races starting at 5pm. Specific times for live demonstrations, activities and Park discounts can be found atVisitOWA.com/Community-Safety.
